Are you a passionate History Teacher who can bring the past to life and inspire the next generation of historians?
PK Education is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging History Teacher to join a Secondary School in Coventry. The school has recently entered an exciting new chapter, moving into a brand-new building designed to provide a bright and inspiring environment for students to learn and flourish.
The History department aims to develop knowledgeable, reflective students with questioning minds, encouraging them to explore how the past has shaped the world around them.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging and inspiring History lessons across KS3 and KS4
Planning lessons that encourage curiosity, debate and critical thinking
Helping students develop their ability to analyse sources and form evidence-based judgements
Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with the wider Humanities department
We’re looking for:
A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS, strong History subject knowledge and a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
£200 – £250 per day
£1,000 – £1,250 per week
