Night Shift Transport Supervisor

Alma Personnel are pleased to announce we are currently working with our Birmingham based client to recruit for a NIGHT SHIFT Transport Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis.

The hours of work are 12am-9am.

The main duties of a Transport Supervisor:-

* Managing people and assets for the overnight inbound trunking process

* Managing the picking and loading of morning C&D vehicles

* Importing XPO files

* Planning trailers

* Creating pick sheets

* Allocating resources

* Ensuring all freight is scanned correctly, both in and out of the site

* Supporting the team

* Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders

* Carrying out periodic training

* Covering for the shift manager if needed

Required Experience:-

* You MUST have a Counterbalance FLT License

* Experience within a Transport Supervisor position

* Good IT skills

* Understanding of Transport Management Systems

* You MUST have knowledge of Health and Safety and take it seriously
