How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As an Operations Manager in the logistics department, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of operations to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.

    Based in Chepstow, you'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods within the FMCG industry.

    Description

    The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for;

    Manage daily logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient processes.
    Monitor and improve operational performance and productivity.
    Oversee inventory control and stock management systems.
    Coordinate with internal teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the logistics environment.
    Analyse operational data to identify trends and implement improvements.
    Lead and motivate the logistics team to achieve targets and objectives.
    Develop and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.Profile

    A successful Operations Manager should have:

    Experience in logistics or supply chain management within the retail industry.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Proficiency in operational systems and data analysis tools.
    Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a logistics setting.
