KBM are currently recruiting for an experienced coded MIG Welder to join a busy engineering team in Montrose on a temporary/agency basis.
The successful candidate will be working on the fabrication of carbon steel frames, carrying out high quality welding to specification.
The Role
* MIG welding carbon steel frames
* Carrying out butt welds and fillet welds
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications
* Producing welds to a consistently high standard
* Working as part of an experienced fabrication team
* Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
About You
* Qualified and experienced MIG Welder
* Current/valid welding coding required
* Experience welding carbon steel
* Confident carrying out both butt and fillet welds
* Able to read and work from engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Able to work effectively as part of a team
