Duties as KS2 Teacher:
Teach a mixed Year 3/4 class
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
Undertake full classroom teacher responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and school events
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and wellbeingPlease note: There are no additional Health & Safety responsibilities attached to this position.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons for mixed-ability learners
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
