How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Psychology Graduate - Gloucester

    Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience with children and young people? Are you considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling or Therapy?

    A specialist school in Gloucester is looking for a Psychology Graduate to join its support team as a Learning Support Assistant. This full-time opportunity provides valuable experience working with pupils with additional learning, communication, emotional and behavioural needs.

    As a Psychology Graduate, you will:

    Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
    Help identify barriers to learning and emotional wellbeing.
    Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
    Support communication, social skills and independence.
    Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff and specialist professionals.This Psychology Graduate role is an excellent opportunity to put your degree knowledge into practice. You will develop your understanding of child development, behaviour, neurodiversity and mental health while building strong relationships with pupils.

    As a Psychology Graduate, you will gain experience that can provide a strong foundation for future training in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Teaching or Speech and Language Therapy. Previous experience with children or vulnerable people is useful, but not essential.
