How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    LANTRA 12A/12B Traffic Management Driver - Wanted - Immediate Start!

    Oxford Based | Salary: DOE Permanent, Full-Time

    Are you an experienced LANTRA 12A/12B Qualified Traffic Management Driver?

    Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a LANTRA 12A/12B Traffic Management Driver to join a growing and reputable traffic management contractor in Oxford. This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated and safety-conscious individual with experience in temporary traffic management operations.

    You will be responsible for driving company vehicles and installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems on highways, roads, and construction projects, ensuring the safety of both the workforce and the public.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    Full UK Driving Licence
    Valid LANTRA 12A or 12B Traffic Management Qualification
    Good understanding of health & safety procedures
    Previous experience within the highways or traffic management sector
    Ability to work as part of a team
    Flexible approach to working hours
    Desirable:

    TTMBC Qualification
    M1/M2, M5 or M6 Traffic Management Units
    First Aid Qualification
    HGV Licence
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Driving company vehicles to and from sites.
    Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems.
    Setting out cones, barriers, signs, and other traffic management equipment.
    Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks.
    Ensuring all traffic management operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
    Completing relevant site paperwork and compliance records.
    Following all site-specific RAMS and Health & Safety procedures.
    Responding to emergency call-outs when required.
    Liaising professionally with site teams, local authorities, and members of the public.
    Assisting supervisors and management with site setup and planning.
    Maintaining company vehicles and equipment to a high standard.
    Undertaking any additional duties as required.
    Requirements

    As a LANTRA 12A/12B Traffic Management Driver, you will also be expected to:

    Work safely and responsibly at all times.
    Demonstrate excellent timekeeping and reliability.
    Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
    Follow company policies and procedures.
    Represent the company professionally on site and when dealing with clients.
    Health, Safety & Compliance

    All employees are required to:

    Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice.
    Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
    Co-operate with colleagues and management to maintain safe working practices.
    Wear and maintain the correct PPE at all times.
    Report hazards, incidents, and near misses in line with company procedures.
