How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Traffic Management Operative - Wanted - Immediate Start!

    Oxford Based | Salary: £24,000 - £36,000 DOE Permanent, Full-Time

    Are you an experienced Traffic Mangagment Operative?

    Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Traffic Mangagment Operative to join a professional and growing traffic management company. This is a hands-on role requiring a reliable and safety-conscious individual who can work effectively as part of a team. You will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems while ensuring the safety of road users, pedestrians, and colleagues at all times.

    Qualifications

    Essential:

    Full UK Driving Licence
    LANTRA Traffic Management Qualification
    Previous experience in traffic management or highways maintenance
    Valid Traffic Management qualification/card (or willingness to obtain)
    Good understanding of health and safety procedures
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Desirable:

    TTMBC (12D M1/M2) Card
    M5, M6 or higher traffic management units
    First Aid qualification

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Setting up, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management systems.
    Installing traffic signs, cones, barriers, and other traffic control equipment.
    Carrying out site inspections to ensure safe and compliant traffic management operations.
    Monitoring and maintaining traffic flow throughout works.
    Completing daily site documentation and records accurately.
    Ensuring all traffic management equipment is maintained and used correctly.
    Working safely and following all health and safety procedures.
    Liaising with supervisors, colleagues, and clients professionally.
    Responding to emergency traffic management requirements when needed.
    Assisting with traffic management planning and site preparations.
    Working flexible hours, including nights and weekends where required.
    Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the company.
    Requirements

    As a Traffic Management Operative, you will also be expected to:

    Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
    Follow all company policies and procedures.
    Maintain high standards of professionalism and work quality.
    Ensure company vehicles and equipment are kept clean and serviceable.
    Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

    Health, Safety & Compliance

    All employees are required to:

    Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice.
    Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation.
    Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met.
    Wear appropriate PPE and follow all site-specific safety procedures.
