How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils with complex mental health needs and additional learning needs. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you'll help create a calm, structured environment where students can feel safe, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

    Your responsibilities will include:

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation using consistent approaches.

Supporting pupils across a range of key stages with both academic and personal development.

Working collaboratively with the wider school team to deliver tailored learning and wellbeing support.

The school offers small class sizes, a therapeutic approach to education, and personalised learning plans designed to help every student reach their full potential.

    About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children with special educational needs.

A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Flexible, resilient, and proactive in responding to individual pupil needs.

Experienced within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential).

    What You'll Receive

    Competitive weekly PAYE pay.

Free access to high-quality CPD and training courses.

Ongoing guidance from a dedicated education consultant.

The opportunity to secure a permanent position.

A welcoming and supportive school environment where your contribution is truly valued.

The chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people every day.

    Safeguarding & Equal Opportunities

Inspire EHC and our partner school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory references.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunities employer and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
