How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Contribute to recruitment and promotional campaigns across digital channels, including social media.
Produce and coordinate content such as student stories, event promotion, campus news and other local marketing activity.
Work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues to support recruitment, marketing and conversion initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity, event attendance, enquiries and prospective student engagement.
Evaluate outreach, recruitment and promotional activity, producing reports on outcomes, lead generation and event performance.
Assist with the administration and scheduling of auditions and interviews, working closely with academic teams and Admissions colleagues.

    What You'll Bring:

Experience in student recruitment, outreach, events, marketing, admissions or a similar customer-facing role.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a wide range of audiences.
Experience presenting information to groups and acting as a professional representative of an organisation.
Confidence working independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
Good administrative skills and attention to detail.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and other digital systems.
The ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
A flexible approach, including a willingness to support occasional evening and weekend events.
