£20.00 per hour (£39,000 equivalent salary)
Are you an experienced Finance Manager available immediately and looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a growing Burgess Hill-based business seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.
This is a fully onsite role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, supporting business operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Managing monthly management accounts and reporting
Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations
Handling cashflow forecasting and budget monitoring
Preparing VAT returns and supporting year-end processes
Supervising finance administration and maintaining financial controls
Producing financial analysis to support business decision-making
About You
Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant
Confident managing month-end processes from start to finish
Strong knowledge of VAT, reconciliations and financial reporting
Proficient with accounting systems and Excel
Available to start immediately or at short notice
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
