How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    What You'll Be Doing

    · Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email, webchat and social media channels.

    · Delivering an outstanding customer experience at every stage of the customer journey.

    · Taking ownership of enquiries and progressing them through to resolution.

    · Providing information and guidance on Shared Ownership and SO Resi developments.

    · Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the business.

    · Accurately maintaining customer records and ensuring attention to detail throughout.

    · Managing multiple enquiries and priorities while maintaining high service standards.

    What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:

    · Previous experience within a customer service or sales support environment.

    · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    · Strong telephone and customer engagement skills.

    · Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

    · Experience or knowledge of the property sector, particularly Shared Ownership, is desirable.

    · Excellent organisational and time management skills.

    · Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    · A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.

    · The ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.

    · A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    Why Join SO Resi?

At SO Resi, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. You'll be joining a supportive team where your contribution truly makes a difference, helping customers take the next step towards owning their home.

If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact and be part of a team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Before applying, please ensure you have an up-to-date CV and allow approximately 10 minutes to complete the application process.

Please note: We review applications as they are received and reserve the right to close this vacancy early. We therefore encourage early applications to avoid disappointment.
