How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Berkhamsted
    Salary: £24,785 per annum
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm | Office based

    Are you organised, enthusiastic and interested in working within the creative industry? We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy team, getting involved in different projects and learning new skills. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business in Berkhamsted as a Junior Production Coordinator.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career within a creative environment. You'll work closely with both the Studio and Account Management teams, supporting the day-to-day coordination of projects for a large, well-known retail account.

    You'll be involved in daily studio briefing meetings, helping to keep projects organised, supporting design and artwork processes, and making sure information and materials are ready when needed.

    The Role

    Working closely with the Studio and Account manager teams, your responsibilities will include:

    Supporting daily studio briefing meetings and helping the team keep track of live projects, priorities and deadlines.
    Communicating with the Studio and Account teams to make sure information is clear and projects are progressing smoothly.
    Helping to organise project information and supporting the day-to-day running of the studio.
    Assisting with the preparation, creation and management of artwork files for proofing and review.
    Supporting design handovers, artwork updates and amendments.
    Helping prepare artwork, files and other materials for range reviews.
    Supporting the creation and preparation of presentation decks.
    Checking information and files carefully, raising any questions or issues where needed.
    Providing general administrative and coordination support to the wider team.About You

    This is a junior opportunity, so we're not expecting you to have previous experience in a creative studio or packaging environment. We're much more interested in your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

    You'll ideally have:

    A genuine interest in the creative industry.
    A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
    Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
    Confidence communicating with different people and working as part of a team.
    The ability to manage your time and keep track of different tasks.
    Confidence using a computer and an interest in learning new systems and software.
    A willingness to ask questions, take on feedback and get involved wherever support is needed.
    A reliable, proactive approach and pride in doing a job well.
