How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join our team based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.

    In this role you will be the key point of contact for our installation teams, providing support and guidance when challenges arise on-site. Working closely with colleagues across operations, you'll investigate issues, coordinate solutions, and help ensure installations are completed right first time.

    Duties:

    · Acting as the primary point of contact for the installation teams, providing support and resolving issues that arise.

    · Investigating and completing root cause analysis on installation and site-related issues, co-ordinating effective solutions to keep jobs progressing.

    · Setting up and maintaining accurate system information for each template and installation, including customer-specific requirements.

    · Producing and issuing clear instructions and job information for installation teams attending site.

    · Working with internal departments and field-based teams to deliver a right-first-time installation experience.

    · Recording and updating information accurately on our CRM platform throughout the installation process.

    Requirements

    · Proven experience managing multiple priorities and resolving complex issues in a fast-paced customer service or operational support environment.

    · Experience supporting field-based teams, with the ability to investigate issues and coordinate effective solutions, would be advantageous.

    · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams.

    · The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

    · Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

    · High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

    Hours:

    Monday - Friday, one week 9am-5pm one week 8am-4pm
