How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Supplier Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring supplier performance and product quality meet the required standards in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Based in Aldershot, Hampshire, this role involves overseeing supplier processes, resolving quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to keep production running smoothly.

    Description

    Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    Conduct supplier audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
    Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues effectively and promptly.
    Support the development and implementation of supplier quality improvement plans.
    Analyse quality data and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
    Ensure supplier processes align with company and industry standards.
    Work closely with internal teams to address any quality concerns related to supplier materials or components.
    Maintain accurate records of supplier quality performance and related activities.Profile

    A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

    Experience in supplier quality management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
    A solid understanding of quality standards and audit processes.
    Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality-related discipline
    Good understanding of quality tools (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis, FMEA)
    Good understanding of manufacturing process controls (e.g. SPC, Control plans, ATE)
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Good communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    Engineering or manufacturing background (moulding, stamping and volume assembly processes)
    Ability to work independently & autonomously · Able to travel (primarily within EuropeJob Offer
