How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working closely with senior leadership, sales and operations, you will drive campaigns that generate quality enquiries, support vehicle sales and build lasting customer relationships. You will also lead an in-house marketing executive, combining strategic direction with hands-on delivery.

    The opportunity

Promoting vehicle stock across commercial vehicle marketplaces and relevant industry platforms.
Managing engaging content and campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Developing CRM campaigns to nurture enquiries, encourage repeat business and improve customer retention.
Improving website content, visibility and conversion through the CMS.
Identifying new routes to market, partnerships and customer acquisition opportunities.
Identifying and implementing AI tools and automation to improve lead generation, lead nurturing, customer engagement, campaign performance and marketing efficiency.
Coordinating creative content, PR, exhibitions and industry events.
Setting clear KPIs and reporting on marketing's contribution to enquiries, sales and revenue.
Leading and developing the marketing executive while maintaining a consistent brand across all channels.

    About you

You will bring at least five years' experience at marketing manager level, gained in-house or within an agency, alongside a track record of delivering measurable results.

A background or passion in commercial vehicles, HGVs, tankers, automotive, plant, machinery or a related industry would be preffered .
You should be comfortable understanding technical products and turning their features into clear, compelling customer benefits.

    You will also offer:

Strong experience across SEO, PPC, social media, content and CRM marketing.
Proven experience developing and delivering a marketing strategy that supports sales, with responsibility for budgets and measurable commercial results.
Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
Experience using website CMS platforms, ideally WordPress.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into practical improvements.
Excellent copywriting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Confidence using AI tools, with a practical understanding of how to apply AI and automation within a marketing strategy to improve sales opportunities and business performance.
An understanding of GDPR and responsible customer data use.
The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery in a busy SME environment.Experience in B2B marketing, PR, trade shows, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and tools such as Lead Forensics would be advantageous.
