How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Contract Site Manager - Internal Fit-Out

    The Company

    A specialist fit-out contractor delivering fast-paced commercial and hospitality projects is looking to appoint an experienced Contract Site Manager for an upcoming internal fit-out of a national fast-food restaurant.

    The business has extensive experience delivering refurbishment and fit-out schemes for recognised national brands, with projects requiring a strong focus on programme, quality and health & safety.

    The Contract Site Manager Role

    The successful Contract Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the internal fit-out, managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

    As Contract Site Manager, you will coordinate trades on site, monitor progress against programme and ensure the project remains on schedule. You will be expected to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the fit-out while managing the practical challenges associated with a fast-paced hospitality environment.

    The Contract Site Manager will also liaise closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors and other project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and resolving site issues as they arise.

    Contract Site Manager Requirements

    The successful Contract Site Manager will ideally have:

    Previous experience delivering internal fit-out or refurbishment projects.

    Experience working within restaurants, retail, hospitality or similar fast-track environments.

    A proven track record managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

    Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures.

    Excellent organisational and communication skills.

    SMSTS qualification.

    CSCS Management Card.

    First Aid at Work qualification.

    Ideally, experience delivering projects for major national restaurant or retail brands
