How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: BIM Coordinator
    Location: Bingley
    Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

    About the role
    Our client is a specialist design consultancy delivering technical design for major stadiums, elite training facilities and sports infrastructure worldwide. They are looking for a BIM Coordinator to take ownership of BIM quality and coordination across a portfolio of live projects.
    Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will work with project Design Leads, engineers and technicians, and liaise with external architects, civil, structural and MEP consultants. The role is hands-on, and when workload allows you will also take on Revit modelling and drawing production.
    What you'll be doing

    Coordinating BIM delivery across your projects in line with client requirements, internal standards and ISO 19650 principles
    Federating in-house models with architectural, structural, civil, MEP and other consultant models, including clash detection and model reviews
    Setting up and managing project models, covering coordinates, links, worksets and model health
    Supporting BIM Execution Plans and managing information through Common Data Environments
    Carrying out QA checks on models, drawings and design information before issue
    Supporting Design Leads in multidisciplinary coordination and BIM meetings
    Helping develop BIM standards, templates, Revit families and workflows
    Providing day-to-day Revit and BIM support to designers and technicians
    Producing coordinated plans, sections, details and schedules
    Supporting the modelling of specialist systems such as drainage, irrigation, undersoil heating and ventilationAbout you
    Essential:

    Strong, practical Autodesk Revit experience
    Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator, Revit Technician or similar BIM-focused role
    Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information in BIM-led projects
    Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM information management
    Experience with a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360
    Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination
    Good understanding of technical drawing production, model QA, and drawings, pipework, drainage, levels, plant and utility interfaces
    Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with confidence liaising with architects, engineers and contractors
    The ability to manage several projects at once while staying involved in productionDesirable:

    AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience
    A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience in BIM, Civil, Mechanical, Building Services, Infrastructure or a related discipline
    A background in civil, mechanical or MEP engineering, drainage, water or infrastructure, or a multidisciplinary consultancyNo sports experience needed. Sports-surface design experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided in specialist pitch systems, with in-house experts handling the specialist design input.
