How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager – Facilities Management

    Location: Multi-site – London
    Salary: £70,000 per annum
    Employment Type: Full-time
    Sector: Facilities Management

    The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Facilities Management team, responsible for delivering a range of projects across a multi-site portfolio throughout London.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams across multiple locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

Lead the planning and delivery of facilities and building-related projects across multiple London sites.

    *

Manage projects from inception through to completion, including scope definition, procurement, implementation and handover.

    *

Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, risks, issues and key milestones.

    *

Coordinate internal teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

    *

Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with relevant health & safety, statutory, compliance and building regulations requirements.

    *

Manage contractor performance and ensure works are completed to agreed specifications and quality standards.

    *

Monitor project costs, approve expenditure within delegated authority and identify opportunities for cost control.

    *

Prepare project reports, progress updates and management information for senior stakeholders.

    *

Conduct regular site visits across the London portfolio and monitor project progress.

    *

Manage variations, change control, risks and project documentation.

    *

Ensure appropriate commissioning, testing, certification and handover documentation is completed.

    *

Work closely with the wider Facilities Management team to minimise disruption to building users and business operations.

    *

Support planned maintenance, lifecycle, refurbishment, compliance and improvement programmes where required.

    *

Maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, occupiers, contractors and other key stakeholders.

    About You

You will be an experienced Facilities Management or Building Projects professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across multiple sites.

    You will ideally have:

    *

Proven experience in project management within Facilities Management, property, estates, construction or a similar environment.

    *

Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

    *

Strong understanding of building services, maintenance, refurbishment and facilities-related projects.

    *

Experience managing contractors and external consultants.

    *

Good commercial and financial management skills.

    *

Strong knowledge of health & safety and relevant statutory compliance requirements.

    *

Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.

    *

The ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    *

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management/reporting systems.

    *

A full UK driving licence, as regular travel between London sites will be required.

    Desirable Qualifications

    *

Relevant qualification in Project Management, Facilities Management, Construction, Building Services or a related discipline.

    *

APM, PRINCE2, RICS, IWFM or similar professional qualification

    The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager looking to take ownership of a varied project portfolio within a high-profile, multi-site Facilities Management environment.

If you have strong project delivery experience, enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and are looking for a role offering responsibility, variety and career progression, we would like to hear from you
