How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School
    Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
    Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
    Hours: Full-time
    Start Date: ASAP

    Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the patience, empathy and enthusiasm to help children with autism thrive in a primary school environment?

    A welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team.

    You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils with autism and other additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and enjoy school life.

    The role will involve:
    Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.

    Supporting children with autism to engage positively with learning and classroom activities.

    Helping pupils develop communication, social and independence skills.

    Providing a calm, structured and supportive environment.

    Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs.

    Supporting pupils with their emotional regulation and wellbeing.

    Working closely with teachers, the SENDCo and other members of the school team.

    Encouraging every child to achieve their individual potential.

    We are looking for someone who:
    Has experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism, or a strong desire to develop their experience in this area.

    Is patient, compassionate and understanding.

    Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Can build positive and trusting relationships with children.

    Is confident working as part of a team while also using their own initiative.

    Is committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
