How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Technical Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology projects across the organisation.

Working within Bank Technology, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, taking ownership of projects from planning through to implementation and review. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to high standards of quality, governance and compliance.

You’ll develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage risks, issues, budgets and change, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. Acting as the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers, remove blockers and ensure deliverables achieve the agreed business outcomes.

You’ll also play an important role in creating collaborative, high-performing project teams, coaching colleagues in effective project practices and driving continuous improvement.

    What we’re looking for

You’ll bring proven experience of delivering complex projects and managing multiple initiatives concurrently, including working with third-party vendors and cross-functional technology teams. You’ll be confident managing stakeholders, facilitating meetings and communicating technical project deliverables to a wide audience.

You’ll have strong knowledge of project management methodologies and processes, including RAID management, and experience with tools and approaches such as Agile, PRINCE2, DSDM, Jira and Confluence. APM or PRINCE2 training is desirable.

You’ll be self-driven, organised and solutions-focused, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the tenacity to keep complex projects moving forward
