How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Behaviour Mentor - Bracknell

    Pay: £90.00 - £105.00/day
    Start Date: ASAP

    Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? Do you have experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional needs?

    A supportive specialist school in Bracknell is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. The school is committed to providing pupils with a safe, structured and nurturing environment where they can develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

    As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who may require additional support with their behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement. You will build positive relationships with students and help them develop strategies to manage challenges and participate more successfully in school life.

    This Behaviour Mentor role will involve:

    Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils
    Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs
    Helping pupils develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
    Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
    Supporting pupils to engage positively with learning
    Providing encouragement and consistency throughout the school day
    Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive environment
    Working closely with Teachers, Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff
    ASAP start
    Bracknell location with accessible transport linksThe school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor who is calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced difficulties within education. Experience in education, youth work, care, sports coaching or similar environments would be beneficial.

    This Behaviour Mentor position would be particularly well suited to someone looking to develop a career within education, behaviour support, psychology, youth work or specialist SEN provision.
