We're looking for a Quality Manager to take the lead on quality, food safety and compliance across this fast-paced food business.
This is a role with plenty of scope to lead, influence and make a difference - from raw material quality and finished product inspections through to HACCP, audits, suppliers, data and developing your team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Food Safety & Compliance
Own and maintain the Food Safety Management System
Oversee HACCP plans and ensure they remain robust and up to date
Lead internal audits and support customer/third-party audits
Keep the gifting operation compliant, safe and audit-readyRaw Material Quality
Lead inspections and assessment of incoming raw materials
Investigate supplier non-conformances and drive corrective action
Work with suppliers to improve quality and reduce repeat issues
Use data and photographic evidence to monitor performanceFinished Product Quality
Oversee quality checks across finished gifting products
Investigate out-of-specification products and agree corrective actions
Monitor trends and identify opportunities to improve consistency
Train and support operational teams on quality standards and reworkYOU'LL ALSO LEAD THE TEAM
You'll manage, coach and develop the Quality team, setting clear objectives, managing rotas and helping build a culture where quality isn't just a department - it's everyone's responsibility.
You'll also work closely with Production, Procurement and NPD, acting as the technical go-to for gifting quality and food safety.
And when needed, you'll represent the business with customers and external stakeholders.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in a Quality Management role within food
Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and customer requirements
Experience inspecting raw materials and finished products
Knowledge of food labelling and compliance
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Experience leading and developing a team
A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
Experience within gifting or similar product lines would be a bonus.
