How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Digital Learning Specialist

    Location: Cambridge (3 days in the office)
    Salary: up to £45,000
    Contract: Full time, permanent

    We’re partnering with a prestigious Cambridge organisation who are looking for a Digital Learning Specialist to join their established Learning & Development team.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing together learning, technology and new ideas. You’ll play an important part in developing engaging learning experiences across the business, while also exploring how emerging technology and AI can help shape the way people learn and develop.

    It’s a role with plenty of scope to make it your own. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work, try new approaches and continue building your expertise as the role develops.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Creating engaging digital learning content and resources.

    * Working with teams across the business to understand their learning needs.

    * Supporting and developing the organisation’s learning platforms and technology.

    * Exploring how AI and new technologies can enhance learning and development.

    * Using feedback and data to continually improve the learning experience.

    * Supporting wider L&D projects and initiatives across the organisation.

    Desired Background

    * Experience within digital learning, L&D, learning technology or a related area.

    * Some experience creating digital learning content.

    * Confidence using learning platforms and technology.

    * Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders.

    * Someone proactive, curious and happy to take ownership while continuing to learn.

    * A genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies

    * Clear communicator with excellent prioritisation skills
