How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Finance Administrator
    6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Atrium Associates are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a Finance Administrator on behalf of a growing and dynamic organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with full-time hours preferred, although flexible working arrangements will be considered. The role can be offered on a remote, hybrid, or office-based basis, depending on experience and business requirements.

This position would suit an experienced Finance Administrator or Accounts Assistant, or someone currently studying towards their AAT qualification, who is looking to broaden their exposure across a range of transactional finance activities.

    The Role

Working as part of a supportive finance function, you will provide administration and support across key finance processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general finance operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Resolving unallocated customer payments
    Clearing aged supplier invoices
    Completing supplier statement reconciliations
    Processing purchase invoices
Chasing outstanding customer payments and receipts
    Performing bank reconciliations
    Posting intercompany journals
    Managing employee expense runs
    Completing company credit card reconciliations
Supporting wider finance administration activities as required
Investigating and resolving discrepancies across accounts
    About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who possess:

Previous experience within a finance administration, accounts, bookkeeping, or transactional finance role
Experience posting journals and working within finance systems
Strong reconciliation skills and excellent attention to detail
A proactive approach to problem-solving and investigating discrepancies
Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise with both suppliers and customers
    Good Microsoft Excel skills
Experience using NetSuite would be advantageous but is not essential
AAT studies or an aspiration to progress towards a finance qualification would be beneficial
    What's on Offer?

    6-month fixed-term contract
Full-time position with flexibility around working hours
Remote, hybrid, or office-based working options available
Broad exposure across multiple finance disciplines
    Supportive and collaborative team environment
Opportunity to develop valuable finance experience within a busy and varied role
If you are a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys reconciliation work, problem-solving, and ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date, we'd love to hear from you.

Atrium Associates look forward to discussing this opportunity with you.
