How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Trainee MIG Welder

    Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
    £12.71 per hour
    5 Contracted Hours per Week
    Monday to Friday | Day Shifts Only
    Full Time Permanent Position
    We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Trainee MIG Welder to join their growing manufacturing team in Mildenhall.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who is looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career within a well-established business.

    Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. Before joining the welding team on the shop floor, you'll undertake a structured 2-4 week training programme designed to provide you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

    What They're Looking For:

    Minimum of 1 year's experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    A genuine interest in learning MIG welding.
    Excellent attendance and reliability, with the ability to demonstrate 90% or greater attendance in previous employment.
    A positive, motivated attitude and strong work ethic.
    Commitment to completing the training programme and developing a long-term career.
