How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About The Role & Who We’re Scouting

    We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Camera Operative to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As a Camera Operative, you’ll play a key role in provide specialist camera operation across Club content and production activity, capturing high-quality footage and supporting reliable shoot delivery through strong technical preparation, lighting, sound, equipment care and footage handover.

    Your responsibilities will include capturing high-quality footage across agreed Club content and production requirements so that raw material is suitable for editorial, social, video and owned-platform output, setting up lighting, sound and interview environments to a high standard so filming is efficient and the final output meets broadcast-quality expectations. You’ll need a strong understanding of camera operation, lenses, exposure, frame rates and colour settings, good working knowledge of lighting for interviews and location work, and a good understanding of sound recording for interviews and live environments. Advanced understanding of post-production requirements and workflows, including how shoots should be captured for editing is also essential. If you're excited about making a difference and contributing to the Club’s success, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

    The ideal candidate will have professional experience as a camera operative across sport, broadcast, digital or events environments. You’ll need experience in delivering interview set-ups, including lighting and sound in a fast-paced environment, with working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
