How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Graduate Sales Support Executive
    Uxbridge | Permanent | Full-time
Looking for your first serious commercial career opportunity?
Are you a bright, ambitious graduate with some office, administration or customer service experience who is ready for a role where you can really learn, develop and become an important part of a business?
We are recruiting for an established and successful company in Uxbridge that is looking for someone with potential.
You don't need years of experience. What matters more is that you're switched-on, professional, naturally good with people and eager to learn.
    .
You'll work closely with experienced team, supporting a portfolio of business customers and gradually develop a strong understanding of the complete commercial process – from quotations and pricing through to orders, projects, purchasing, deliveries and customer account support.
For the right person, it's an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within a commercial environment.
    What will you be doing?
You'll become an important point of contact for customers and provide day-to-day support to the sales and account management team.
    Your responsibilities will include:
    * Building strong relationships with business customers and responding to their enquiries.
    * Preparing quotations and pricing information.
    * Managing customer orders from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.
    * Helping with tenders, pricing exercises and customer proposals.
    * Keeping customers informed and making sure they receive an excellent level of service.
    * Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure orders run smoothly.
    * Producing customer reports and analysing information using Excel.
    * Maintaining accurate customer and CRM information.
    * Investigating queries and finding solutions when things don't go according to plan.
    * Learning about products, customers and the wider commercial operation.
    * Taking on greater responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develop.
    Who are we looking for?
We're particularly interested in candidates at the early stages of their career who can demonstrate genuine potential.
You could be a recent graduate with some office, retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience, or perhaps you're already working in your first commercial role and feel ready for something with greater development opportunities.
    You'll ideally have:
    * A degree or equivalent level of education.
    * Some previous office, administration, customer service or commercial experience.
    * Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
    * A genuinely customer-focused approach.
    * Strong attention to detail.
    * Good numerical and analytical ability.
    * Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    * The ability to organise your workload and manage several priorities.
    * A proactive attitude – you'll ask questions, use your initiative and want to understand how things work.
    * The maturity and professionalism to communicate with business customers.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is bright, personable, curious and keen to progress.
You won't be expected to arrive knowing everything. You'll receive support while you learn the business, but you'll need the enthusiasm and ability to absorb information quickly and gradually take ownership.
    Why consider this opportunity?
This could be a particularly good move if you've completed your degree and are now looking for a role that gives you genuine commercial experience rather than simply another administrative job.
You'll gain exposure to customer account management, sales, pricing, purchasing, projects and business operations while working alongside an experienced team.
There is plenty to learn and scope to develop as you prove yourself.
If you're ambitious, commercially curious and looking for an opportunity where your potential will be recognised, we'd really like to hear from you.
