How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Working Days: Monday to Friday
    Hours: 12:45pm – 3:15pm

    Job Description

    Provide Education is currently recruiting for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil at a school in the S64 area.

    This role is due to start on Monday 5th October 2026 and will involve working five afternoons per week, from 12:45pm to 3:15pm.

    The successful candidate will provide tailored support to help the pupil access learning, develop their independence and engage positively with the school day.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide one-to-one support for a Year 1 pupil with special educational needs.
    Support the pupil's learning, development and engagement in the classroom.
    Help implement strategies to meet the pupil's individual needs.
    Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction and independence.
    Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
    Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and confident in supporting children with additional needs. Previous experience working with SEN pupils, particularly within a primary school setting, would be advantageous.
