How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

Working as part of the site delivery team and reporting into the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your section of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with the wider site team, subcontractors and trades to maintain progress and resolve any issues throughout the build.

    Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day construction activities across your area of the development
Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
Ensuring construction is delivered in line with programme and build specifications
Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the build
Monitoring progress and reporting to the Senior Site Manager
Managing health & safety requirements and maintaining a safe working environment
Carrying out regular inspections and quality checks
Coordinating with other members of the site team to ensure smooth project delivery
Supporting the delivery of the development through to completion and handover

    About You

We are looking for experienced Site Managers with a strong background in traditional-build residential construction.

    You will ideally have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential new build
Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods
    Experience managing subcontractors and trades
A good understanding of programme, quality and health & safety
