How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    IT Application Support Analyst

    The Role

    The IT Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting and promoting the effective use of IT systems and digital workplace technologies. The role acts as a key point of contact for end users, providing guidance, support and training to maximise the value of core business applications and collaboration platforms.

    The successful candidate will maintain knowledge resources, develop user communications, deliver training and workshops and provide expert advice to ensure users can effectively leverage available technology to improve productivity and collaboration.

    Working closely with stakeholders across the business and the wider IT team, the IT Application Support Analyst will drive user adoption, support continual improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of processes and governance standards relating to the use of business applications.

    Key Responsibilities

    User Support & Advisory Services

    Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 (M365) products and core IT services, providing guidance and support to end users.
    Respond to user enquiries regarding the effective use of applications and collaboration tools, ensuring users are able to maximise productivity and efficiency.
    Advise and support users in selecting the most appropriate technology solutions and applications to meet business requirements, including participation in new application evaluation processes.
    Assist in the provision and maintenance of M365 services ensuring that users gain maximum value from the service
    Support document storage, sharing and collaboration processes across Microsoft 365 and other core systems.Knowledge Management & Communications

    Create, maintain and continually improve end-user knowledge base content, user guides and support documentation.
    Develop and publish communications, news articles and awareness content relating to core IT Services.
    Ensure information provided to users remains accurate, relevant and aligned to organisational objectives.
    Design and deliver workshops, awareness sessions and informal training programmes to improve user capability and encourage adoption of core business applications.Continuous Improvement

    Monitor utilisation of Microsoft 365 services and business applications, identifying opportunities to improve adoption, efficiency and governance.
    Suggest process improvements to teams/ departments to align more closely with M365 and other core IT Services.About you

    Essential

    Strong knowledge and administration experience of Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft 365 Groups.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    Experience creating and maintaining user documentation, knowledge articles and training materials.
    Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    Ability to deliver user training, workshops and awareness sessions.
    Good understanding of Windows 11 and modern workplace technologies.Desirable

    Experience of Mimecast email archive solution.
    Any experience of document management solutions.
    Knowledge of Microsoft Viva Engage.
    Experience in using and supporting Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies.
    Understanding of Microsoft Information Protection and Sensitivity Labels.
    Experience supporting digital workplace adoption initiatives.
    Experience with Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF software.
