How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Summary

DX is looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Claims Coordinator to manage employers’ liability and industrial injury claims across our nationwide network.

You will act as the central point of contact for depots, insurers, legal representatives, claims management providers and internal stakeholders. You will help keep claims on track, obtain evidence promptly, maintain accurate records, and support effective defence strategies through clear analysis and reporting.

This role would suit someone with experience in claims administration, insurance, legal support, risk management, health and safety administration, or a similar environment.

    Key responsibilities

    * Receiving, reviewing and recording employers’ liability and industrial injury claims.

    * Managing claims from initial notification through to closure.

    * Monitoring case progress, key milestones and legal deadlines.

    * Coordinating the collection of accident investigations, risk assessments, training records, witness statements, CCTV footage and other supporting evidence.

    * Identifying gaps in evidence and following up with depots and business functions.

    * Liaising with managers across more than 100 depots, as well as insurers, solicitors and claims management providers.

    * Reviewing evidence and external recommendations to prepare case summaries and defence strategy proposals.

    * Producing claims reports, management information and trend analysis.

    * Identifying recurring causes, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.

    * Providing day-to-day supervision to the SHE Administrator on claims-related activities

    Essential criteria for this role

    * Relevant experience in claims administration, insurance, legal support, risk management, health and safety administration, or a comparable role.

    * Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

    * Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

    * Confident communication and relationship-building skills.

    * An analytical approach, with the ability to assess evidence and make recommendations.

    * Experience producing reports and management information.

    * The ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and take ownership of your workload.

    * Competence in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions and data analysis tools.

    * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Word.

    * Experience of employers’ liability or personal injury claims, logistics or distribution operations, supervision, or UK health and safety legislation would be advantageous.

    About you

You will be methodical, persistent and comfortable following up for information. You will communicate professionally, handle sensitive matters appropriately, and take a practical, commercially aware approach to resolving issues.
