Are you an organised, detail-focused administrator looking to take the next step in your career within Investments and Financial Services?
Our client, a successful financial services business based in Godalming, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Investment Administrator to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has experience in Financial Services, Client Services, Pensions or Investment Administration, or for an ambitious administrator who is keen to develop their career within the investment sector.
You’ll play an important role in supporting the investment and sales teams, helping to deliver an excellent service to clients while gaining valuable exposure to investments, pensions and financial planning.
The Role
You’ll provide a high level of administrative support to the sales and investment teams, with responsibilities including:
* Managing the client review process, including preparing spreadsheets, reports and supporting documentation.
* Preparing and typing professional client letters and reports.
* Obtaining new business illustrations for Investment and Pension Consultants.
* Processing new business applications and checking documentation for accuracy and completeness.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and databases.
* Supporting ongoing research into suitable investment funds.
* Ensuring all administration is completed efficiently and to the firm's high standards of accuracy and file quality.
* Providing excellent client service and helping to ensure a positive client experience at every stage.
* Working in line with the firm's regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Supporting the wider team with additional administrative duties as required.
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and passionate about providing an excellent service.
You’ll ideally have:
* Experience within Financial Services, Investments, Pensions, Client Services or Administration.
* A genuine interest in developing a career within the investment sector.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Good keyboard and IT skills, with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and basic Excel experience.
* An understanding of investments, life assurance, pensions and mortgages.
* A professional and confident telephone manner.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* The ability to prioritise effectively and remain organised when working to tight deadlines.
* A proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
