Cabinet Maker
Location: Near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday only 7am - 5.15pm
Employment Type: Temp to perm role for the right person
We are recruiting for an independent kitchen manufacturer specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality, bespoke kitchens. As a growing business, they take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail and the quality of the finished product.
They are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our workshop team and play an important role in producing beautifully made kitchens for our customers.
The Role for the Cabinet Maker
As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for manufacturing kitchen cabinetry and components to a high standard, working from detailed drawings and specifications.
* Your responsibilities will include:
* Manufacturing bespoke kitchen cabinets and furniture
* Cutting, assembling and fitting cabinetry and components
* Working with sheet materials, solid timber, veneers and laminates
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists
* Using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
* Ensuring all work is accurate, well finished and meets our quality standards
* Working efficiently to meet production schedules
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
* Working as part of a small, friendly team
About You
We are looking for someone with proven experience in cabinet making or high-end furniture/kitchen manufacturing.
You will ideally have:
* Strong cabinet-making and woodworking skills
* Experience working from drawings and specifications
* Good attention to detail and a pride in your workmanship
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A reliable, practical and positive approach
* Experience using woodworking machinery
* A commitment to producing high-quality work
* Experience in bespoke kitchen manufacturing would be advantageous, but we are also happy to consider skilled cabinet makers from a furniture or joinery
