As an Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our site operations, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You’ll be hands-on across various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping — all while maintaining the highest safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols.

Shift times: Monday 6am-4pm and Tuesday to Friday 6am to 3.30pm

Due to the site’s location and shift times, having your own transport is highly recommended.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Achieving daily production targets
Recording and reporting quality data
Loading/unloading products from plant and vehicles
Ensuring accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. In addition, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial to your application:

Good communication skills and strong numeracy
A mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Previous experience with manual handlingWe’re also looking for someone who:

Is safety-conscious and detail-oriented
Thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Is flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic

The role is based at our Nuneaton site, easily accessible from Coventry, Hinckley, Bedworth, Atherstone, Tamworth, Rugby, and the surrounding areas.
