Duties as a Design Technology Teacher:
Teach Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Inspire creativity, innovation, and technical skills
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Maintain a safe and effective learning environment
Encourage students to develop confidence and independence
Contribute positively to the wider school communityIdeal Design Technology Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Design Technology within a secondary setting
Strong subject knowledge and practical workshop skills
Excellent classroom management abilities
Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
Strong communication and organisational skills
