Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Leicester City?
TeacherActive is working with a range of SEND schools and specialist provisions that are looking for caring, confident and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a variety of additional needs.
Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, part-time hours or a longer-term role, we can offer flexibility around your availability.
The role may include:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Helping pupils access learning and classroom activities
Supporting behaviour, communication and emotional regulation
Working closely with teachers and other support staff
Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive environment
We are looking for:
Previous experience supporting children or young people
Experience with SEND is highly desirable
A patient, resilient and caring approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence supporting needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs
A genuine passion for helping pupils develop and progress
