Revolve Collective would like to hear from Cover Supervisors interested in specialist secondary opportunities in Wolverhampton.
Our partner-school list includes a specialist setting with secondary provision. Any cover assignment needs to be matched carefully to your experience and the pupils’ needs.
You’ll supervise work prepared by teachers, explain tasks clearly and help pupils remain engaged. That can mean adjusting your explanation, reinforcing familiar routines and working closely with support staff.
Confidence with flexibility
For specialist classroom cover, you’ll need:

Experience leading or supervising groups of young people.
*
Relevant experience supporting SEN, SEMH needs or challenging behaviour.
*
Experience adapting instructions and maintaining consistent boundaries.
*
Confidence following behaviour-support procedures and working with classroom support staff.
*
An understanding of safeguarding.
You’ll also provide clear feedback to the returning teacher to help maintain continuity.
