Pertemps Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering environment.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of fabrication methods, machinery and engineering practices.
The role will involve:
TIG welding and general fabrication
Building and repairing conveyors for production lines
Carrying out maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems
Maintaining conveyors to ensure production lines continue running efficiently
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and fabrication issues
Working with a range of fabrication tools, machinery and equipment
Supporting general engineering and maintenance requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven TIG welding experience
Strong fabrication skills and knowledge of fabrication methods
Experience building, repairing and maintaining machinery
Experience working with conveyors or production-line equipment
Good problem-solving skills
A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
A full UK driving licence
The ability to travel when required
A company vehicle will be available from time to time for work-related travel.
The starting rate is £16.00 per hour, with the hourly rate negotiable depending on the candidate's skill level and experience.
