How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Act as the primary client interface on site, holding weekly progress meetings and delivering accurate monthly reporting.

    About You

You are an experienced Site Manager or Site Agent with a strong operational background in heavy civil engineering, deep drainage, or water sector infrastructure. You possess strong direct labour leadership, technical problem-solving ability, and sound commercial awareness under regulated framework contracts.

Hold essential credentials: CSCS Card (Black or Gold), SMSTS (or IOSH Managing Safely), TWC, and Confined Space training.

Possess a strong working knowledge of CDM regulations, contract conditions, cost control, forecasting, and testing specifications.

Show proven ability to manage direct labour and subcontractors, challenge site designs, and drive safety-first site cultures.

Work alongside experienced industry specialists in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

    About Your Future

Taking on this key operational site role positions you for clear career advancement into Senior Site Agent and Contracts Management roles within expanding regional business units.

Secure a permanent, full-time position backed by a stable and expanding regional infrastructure pipeline.

Receive a competitive base salary between £50,000 and £60,000 plus a company car allowance or vehicle options.

Enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, additional loyalty days, and dedicated volunteering leave.

Gain access to private medical cover, company pension schemes, life assurance, and continuous professional development.
