How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Full-time | 8:30am - 3:30pm | ASAP Start
    £90 - £105 per day | Devizes

    Are you passionate about supporting young people and interested in gaining hands-on experience in SEMH, behaviour and specialist education?

    A specialist education setting in Devizes is looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Worker to join their team. You'll be supporting students who may experience social, emotional and mental health needs, behavioural challenges and barriers to learning.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build valuable experience before pursuing a career in psychology, youth work, counselling, mental health or specialist education.

    The Role - Behaviour Support Worker

    As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will:

    Build positive, trusting relationships with students and act as a consistent source of support
    Support young people with SEMH, behavioural and additional learning needs
    Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement with learning
    Help students develop confidence, independence and positive coping strategies
    Support students who may struggle within a mainstream classroom environment
    Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and other professionals to provide consistent support
    Help create a calm, safe and positive learning environment

    A Psychology graduate or studying towards a related degree
    Experienced in youth work, support work, education or mentoring

    Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
    Pay: £90 - £105 per day
    Start: ASAP
    Contract: Full-time, long-term
