How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you highly organised, analytical and confident working with data? Do you enjoy solving problems, building strong supplier relationships and helping make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time? If so, this could be a great opportunity to develop your supply chain career with TC.

    Our Culture

At TC, our culture is built on collaboration, responsibility, authenticity and a commitment to excellence. Our four core values — Aim High, Do it Together, Be Responsible and Be Authentic — guide how we work, how we treat one another and how we deliver results.

We believe our success comes from strong teamwork across the whole business. Every department and every Tribe member plays an important role in shaping the customer experience and supporting sustainable growth. We value open communication, shared accountability and mutual support, making sure decisions are made with our customers, colleagues and wider business in mind.

Together, we are an enthusiastic, driven and passionate team. We enjoy working collaboratively, taking ownership of what we do and striving to be the best — individually and as one team.

    About the Role

As our Supply Chain Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping TC maintain product availability, manage stock effectively and support strong supplier performance.

Working closely with the Procurement Team Leader, suppliers and internal teams across Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Product Development and Finance, you’ll help forecast demand, place purchase orders, monitor stock levels and provide data-led insight to support business decisions.

This is a varied role that would suit someone with strong numerical skills, a good understanding of purchasing, procurement or demand planning, and the confidence to work with data, suppliers and stakeholders. You’ll use demand planning software, purchasing systems, historical sales data, market trends and supplier insight to help ensure the right products are available in the right locations, while minimising operational costs and avoiding stockouts or overstock situations.

If you’re proactive, detail-focused and keen to improve processes, supplier performance and your own knowledge, we’d love to meet you.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    *

Submit purchase orders to suppliers through purchasing systems, ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities and locations.

    *

Help maintain target product availability while reducing the risk of stockouts, excess stock and unnecessary operational cost.

    *

Work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels, provide purchasing forecasts and support strong service levels.

    *

Build positive supplier relationships through regular communication, meetings, Teams calls and visits where required.

    *

Collect, review and share supplier performance data, identifying risks, improvements and practical action plans.

    *

Participate in regular S&OP meetings, working with Sales, Logistics and other internal teams to align demand forecasts with business priorities and KPIs.

    *

Gather insight from Sales, Product Development, Marketing and Finance to understand promotions, product launches, market trends and economic shifts that may affect demand.

    *

Use demand planning software, historical sales data, market trends and supplier insight to forecast future product demand.

    *

Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory performance, reporting on product availability, service levels, stock breakdowns, stock volume and value, stock turn and forecast accuracy.

    *

Provide data-led input to support improvements in purchasing systems, reporting, forecasting, supplier performance and decision-making.

    *

Identify potential supply chain risks, including market volatility, supplier issues, supply disruption and changes in customer behaviour.

    *

Keep up to date with supply chain and procurement best practice, contributing to continuous improvement across Procurement and the wider business.

    What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means products are available when and where they are needed, stock levels are well managed, and suppliers are supported to deliver strong performance.

You’ll help reduce stockouts and overstock situations, improve forecast accuracy, maintain useful reporting and provide insight that supports better purchasing decisions.

You’ll also build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams, contributing to smoother processes, stronger collaboration and better outcomes for our customers and the business.

    What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, proactive and confident working with data, systems and suppliers.

    You’ll bring:

    * Experience or understanding of demand planning principles, purchasing or procurement.

    * An understanding of the supply chain environment and market dynamics.

    * Strong numerical ability and confidence interpreting data.

    * Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

    * Experience managing or supporting improvements in supplier performance.

    * Strong data analysis skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel.

    * Experience using ERP or planning systems, such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle or similar.

    * The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.

    * A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take ownership.

    * A continuous improvement mindset, with a desire to improve processes, supplier performance and your own learning.

    * The ability to respond positively to changing business priorities.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At TC, you’ll be part of a team where your work matters, your ideas are heard and your development is encouraged. You’ll have the opportunity to build your supply chain and procurement knowledge, work with colleagues across the business and make a real impact on product availability, supplier performance and customer experience.

You’ll join a collaborative, supportive team that values ownership, improvement and practical problem-solving.

Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave, your birthday off, private medical insurance, company pension and opportunities to learn, develop and progress.

If you’re an organised and analytical supply chain professional who enjoys working with data, suppliers and internal teams to keep things moving, we’d love to hear from you.
