How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    £28,000-£34,000 Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus | £45,000+ Earning Potential | Company Vehicle | Full Training Join the Growing Our client is looking for an ambitious, personable and driven Customer Service/Site Surveyor to join their growing team, covering London, Surrey and the Home Counties.
    This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and finding the right solution for their customers. Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within this exciting and specialised industry.
    The Role:
    You will visit customers in their homes to understand their specific needs, assess their property and recommend the most appropriate
    solution.
    You will manage the customer journey from initial assessment through to quotation and order, providing clear, professional advice throughout.

    Customers and referral partners may include:
    · Private customers and their families
    · Local authorities
    · Housing associations
    · Occupational therapists and healthcare professionals
    · Other organisations and referral partners

    This is consultative sales/customer service role rather than high-pressure selling. Due to the nature of the business and the customer base you will be compassionate and be able to understand individual circumstances and provide the right solution.
    Key Responsibilities
    · Attend pre-arranged customer appointments across the territory
    · Carry out professional customer and property assessments
    · Survey the required areas within the properties accurately
    · Understand individual requirements
    · Recommend suitable solutions
    · Prepare and present quotations
    · Follow up enquiries and quotations professionally
    · Build strong relationships with customers, families and referral partners
    · Work closely with installation, technical and customer service teams
    · Maintain accurate customer records using company systems
    · Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
    · Represent the business professionally at all times.

    The ideal candidate:
    Confident, personable and naturally good with people | A strong communicator and excellent listener | Professional, trustworthy and empathetic | Organised and able to manage customer appointments effectively | Commercially aware with a positive and professional approach | \Comfortable using laptops, tablets and CRM systems | Comfortable travelling extensively throughout the territory | A full UK driving licence holder with a clean driving record.

    Experience:
    Experience in sales, healthcare, home improvements, construction, surveying or another consultative sales environment would be advantageous.
    Full training will be provided, and our client is particularly interested in your attitude, communication skills, personality and desire to succeed.

    Location & Requirements:
    · This is a field-based position covering London, Surrey and the Home Counties, with regular travel to customer appointments
    · Candidates based in West London, Surrey or the surrounding Home Counties would be particularly well placed for the role
    · Customer appointments are primarily arranged and managed by their office team, so the role is focused on attending appointments, carrying out professional surveys and consultations, and managing the customer relationship through to quotation and order
    · A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, and the successful candidate must be comfortable with extensive travel throughout the territory
    · Due to the nature of the role and regular visits to customers in their homes, a satisfactory DBS check will also be required as part of our pre-employment screening.
