How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An established care group is looking for an experienced commercial leader to take an operational intelligence platform to market across health and social care.
The platform has been developed and tested within live adult social care services. It supports providers to improve governance, quality assurance, compliance, risk management and operational oversight.
This is a growth role, not a conventional product sales position. The platform is live, proven in practice and continuing to develop as it moves towards wider market launch.

    The role.
As Head of Commercial Growth, you will take responsibility for building the commercial foundations for a care technology platform at an important stage of its development.

Creating a structured, scalable sales process and effective pipeline management.
Delivering revenue growth against agreed commercial targets.
Translating operational and technical functionality into clear commercial messaging.
Positioning the platform as an operational intelligence and governance solution, rather than solely a compliance tool.
Supporting brand development, launch activity and market awareness campaigns.
Acting as the link between customers, senior leadership, operational teams and product development.
Gathering market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development priorities.
Identifying competitor activity, sector trends and emerging customer needs.
Developing strategic partnerships, referral routes and sector engagement opportunities.
Representing the platform at industry events, forums and networking opportunities.
Supporting engagement with NHS accreditation pathways and strategic healthcare partnerships.About you.
You will be commercially ambitious, credible with senior stakeholders and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities will evolve.
You will understand the realities of regulated health or social care services and be able to discuss governance, quality, operational performance and compliance with confidence.
    You will need:
Experience in commercial growth, business development, strategic partnerships or a senior sales leadership role.
A proven track record of generating revenue and developing commercial pipelines.
Experience within healthcare, social care, technology, SaaS or a related regulated sector.
Confidence presenting to senior decision-makers, including board-level stakeholders.
Experience building relationships with provider groups, commissioners, healthcare organisations or other complex client groups.
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn customer insight into action.
Excellent organisation, communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with operational and product teams.
Willingness to travel regularly across the Midlands and further afield when required.Desirable experience.
Healthtech, care technology or SaaS experience.
Experience launching or scaling a new product, service or platform.
Experience selling into regulated health or social care environments.
Understanding of CQC governance, quality assurance, compliance or operational performance frameworks.
Existing networks across adult social care, healthcare providers, commissioners or NHS organisations.
Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment. What is on offer.
Salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

The opportunity to shape the commercial direction of a platform developed within real care environments.
Direct exposure to senior leadership, operational teams and product development.
A role with genuine influence over market positioning, customer growth and long-term commercial success.
If you have the commercial drive to scale a credible care technology platform, alongside the sector knowledge to build trust with providers and healthcare partners, apply now
