Salary: £27,000–£32,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)

Our client is a trading company specialising in unique Japanese products, and is looking for an Operations Manager to support its growing UK business.
Operations Manager – Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operational activities, including stock, orders and deliveries.
* Manage inventory levels and ensure products are available when required.
* Handle purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing and delivery arrangements.
* Liaise with suppliers, customers and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
* Support the company’s E-commerce operations, including order processing, stock updates and customer enquiries.
* Maintain accurate product, stock and order records.
* Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overstock issues.
* Support product launches, promotions and other commercial activities.
* Help improve operational processes and ensure efficient day-to-day business operations.
* Work closely with the management team and other departments to support the continued growth of the business.
Operations Manager – Requirements:
* Previous experience in operations, order management, supply chain, stock control or a similar role.
* Experience managing stock of B2C products would be advantageous.
* E-commerce experience would be highly desirable.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable working with suppliers, customers and external partners.
* Good Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
* Proactive, reliable and hands-on approach to work.
* An interest in Japanese culture and products.
* Japanese language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential.
