How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're recruiting an Account Manager on behalf of a globally respected, innovative audio technology business headquartered in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent, full-time position and a genuine opportunity to step into true end-to-end account leadership — combining commercial negotiation, programme delivery and long-term client relationship management within one of the industry's most recognised names.

Operating within the Licensing & Consultancy Commercial team, you'll take full commercial ownership of designated global accounts, working alongside world-class engineers and customer procurement teams to manage and grow key B2B relationships. The core focus is the automotive sector, though the role spans a broad international customer base. You'll be based at the Huntingdon HQ with frequent travel throughout the UK, Europe and internationally — making this an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded relationship builder who is ready to own something meaningful and take it further.

    Main Responsibilities:

    * Acting as the dedicated commercial lead and primary day-to-day contact for assigned key accounts across global markets

    * Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across customer engineering, procurement, marketing and design teams

    * Coordinating with internal and customer teams to ensure project scopes, contractual milestones and delivery schedules are met

    * Identifying and securing new revenue opportunities within existing accounts through cross-selling of technologies, engineering services and branded solutions

    * Leading the preparation of commercial quotes, statements of work and customer proposals

    * Supporting and leading RFQ responses in collaboration with internal teams

    * Maintaining accurate pipeline visibility, revenue tracking and commercial reporting

    * Representing the business at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to build awareness and drive new opportunities

    Skills/Experience:

    * Minimum 2 years' experience managing B2B corporate customer accounts with full commercial ownership — essential

    * Demonstrated ability to manage relationships across diverse customer teams including engineering, procurement and marketing

    * Clear commercial acumen — comfortable discussing project scopes, contracts, profitability and invoicing

    * Strong organisational skills with a track record of coordinating cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule

    * Fast learner with strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to rapidly absorb and credibly represent technical products and services

    * Confident presenter with excellent interpersonal skills — able to communicate clearly at all levels of an organisation

    * Resilient and diplomatically tenacious — able to protect margins and navigate challenging customer conversations

    * Degree educated in business management, marketing, business information technology or a related discipline

    * Full, clean driving licence — essential

    * Automotive sector experience — desirable

    Salary & Working Hours:

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. Full-time, permanent position based at HQ in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, with frequent travel across the UK, Europe and internationally.

    Benefits:

    * Competitive salary dependent on experience

    * High-profile account ownership role with genuine commercial autonomy

    * Frequent UK, European and international travel

    * Work for a globally recognised, premium audio technology brand

    * Collaborative working environment alongside world-leading engineers

    * Opportunity to develop long-term strategic relationships with major automotive manufacturers
