How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Client Commercial Team Manager
    £50,000-£60,000
    25 days + bank holidays
    Birmingham

We are looking for an experienced Client Commercial Team Manager to lead and develop a specialist commercial team responsible for contract renewals, remedial quotations and sales administration.

This is a key role focused on delivering strong commercial performance while maintaining excellent client relationships and developing a high-performing, collaborative team.

You will oversee the end-to-end contract renewal process, ensure remedial quotations are delivered accurately and on time, and work closely with clients, finance, operations and senior management to maximise revenue and contract retention.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop a team of contract administrators and estimators.
Allocate workloads and ensure renewal and quotation deadlines are consistently met.
Oversee commercial contract renewals, including pricing, scope changes and negotiations.
Manage the preparation and submission of remedial, repair and additional works quotations.
Ensure quotations are technically accurate, commercially competitive and profitable.
Oversee sales administration, CRM systems, proposals, contracts and sales documentation.
Monitor sales pipelines, renewal rates, quote-to-conversion rates and commercial performance.
Build strong relationships with key clients and act as an escalation point for complex commercial discussions.
Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure effective contract management and handovers.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and commercial performance.
Produce regular management reports covering team performance, renewals and remedial works.
Ensure all renewals and quotations comply with contractual, regulatory and company requirements.
Coach and develop team members through regular performance reviews and ongoing support. Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in contract management, commercial operations or facilities management — ideally within the sprinkler industry.
Previous supervisory or management experience, with a track record of developing and improving team performance.
Strong understanding of commercial contracts, pricing structures and estimating.
Experience using CRM systems, contract management software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance client requirements with profitability.
Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to present complex information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
A proactive, organised and results-driven approach.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial or contract management professional looking to take ownership of a specialist team and play a key role in driving client retention, revenue growth and operational improvement.
