Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK are looking for Machine Operators for the packaging department.
As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating production and packaging equipment within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You'll operate machinery including ULMA flow wrapper machines, ensuring products are packaged correctly and efficiently while maintaining the required food safety, quality and health & safety standards. You'll work as part of the production team to achieve daily output targets, maintain product quality and ensure equipment and the working area are kept to the required standards.
You will need:
Previous experience within a food manufacturing, production or packaging environment
Experience operating production or packaging machinery
Good understanding of food safety and health & safety requirements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality
Reliable and flexible approach to shift work
Strong teamworking and communication skills
