At our Lowestoft supported living service, you’ll work alongside people who need enhanced support, helping them build independence, develop new skills and enjoy life on their terms.
The Role
Location: Lowestoft
Hours: Full and part time – 22.5 to 35 hours
Shifts: 7am–2.30pm, 2.30pm–10pm, 10pm–8am and sleep-ins
Pay: £13.89ph up to £14.89ph with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements
Your Role
This is a hands-on role where your approach, patience and consistency can make a real difference.
You’ll:
Support people with their everyday routines and personal care
Encourage independence and help develop new life skills
Support people to access their local community and enjoy activities
Take part in trips, outings and activities chosen by the people we support
Provide reassurance and emotional support
Help people work towards personal goals and celebrate their progress
Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and use reflective practice
Provide enhanced support for people with behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, potential forensic histories and traumaOne day you could be out exploring the local area, while the next might involve supporting someone to enjoy their favourite activity at home.

Who This Role Is For
We’re looking for an experienced Support Worker who is:
Caring, patient and genuinely hands-on
Resilient, flexible and composed
Experienced in supporting people with enhanced needs
Confident following Positive Behaviour Support plans
Experienced with reflective practice
Comfortable supporting people with complex needs, including mental health, autism, behaviours of distress, potential forensic histories and trauma
