You'll be trusted to diagnose, service and repair customer vehicles to a high standard. It's a hands-on role where your technical ability, attention to detail and approach to safety will make a real difference every day.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on HGVs.
Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and scheduled safety inspections.
Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and determine the repairs needed.
Reporting any additional work identified during inspections.
Working with the Shift Supervisor to plan and complete your daily workload.
Completing job cards clearly and accurately.
Taking part in a call-out and breakdown rota if required.
What we're looking for
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance and repair.
Strong mechanical and electrical repair experience.
Confidence with fault finding and diagnostic equipment.
A good understanding of workshop health and safety.
A clean driving licence; an HGV licence would be an advantage.
You'll work 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across early and late shifts:
Early: 6:00am4:00pm, finishing at 3:00pm on Friday.
Late: 12:00pm10:00pm, finishing at 9:00pm on Friday.

£53000.00 - £57000.00 per year
